A
Homebodies™
caregiver took care of two young children, whilea family tended to a
family funeral.
One family was able to go on a much needed and deserved vacation
knowing that Mom was being checked on daily.
Fran is able to attend a day health program, and her daughter is
able to enjoy some respite time for a few hours twice a week.
Kim suffers from Multiple Sclerosis. She is able to stay in her own
home because
Homebodies™ provides companionship and help with
activities of daily living while her husband is at work.
During a round of golf, a young lady sprained one ankle, and broke
the other. Homebodies™
was able to help with the basic things around the house.
Cindy broke an arm, preventing her from bathing without help or
running errands she was used to doing. With
Homebodies™
assistance, she was able to maintain her lifestyle.
Homebodies™
covered "the night shift" for a 15 week old preemie, so mom and dad
could get the sleep they needed to meet their baby's needs during
the day.
Twenty-four hour care was what one family, who lives out of
town, chose after Mom fell and broke her arm.
Homebodies™ caregivers worked with the hospital nurse, and
physical therapist to make sure all areas of her recovery were taken
care of.
Joan came to Michigan for a family wedding. Breaking her leg was not
in the planned activities, but happened nonetheless.
Homebodies™
met her needs until she was allowed by her doctor to return to
Colorado, five weeks later.
Linda was bed-bound for almost a year. We were able to prepare her
meals, wash her hair, polish her nails, dog sit, and offer support
and
encouragement to her and her family.
Gina’s children are out of town. Since she no longer drives, we make
sure she gets to her doctor appointments and senior meetings
