One family was able to go on a much needed and deserved vacation knowing that Mom was being checked on daily.
F. is able to attend a day health program, and her daughter is able to enjoy some respite time for a few hours twice a week.
K. suffers from MS. We are able to provide companionship and help with activities of daily living, and respite care for her husband.
C. broke an arm preventing her from bathing without help or running errands she was used to doing. With Homebodies assistance, she was able to maintain her lifestyle.
Homebodies covered "the night shift" for a 15 week old preemie, so mom and dad could get the sleep they needed to meet their baby's needs during the day.
J. came to Michigan for a family wedding. Breaking her leg was not in the planned activities, but happened nonetheless. Homebodies met her needs until she was allowed by her doctor to return to Colorado, five weeks later.
L. was bed-bound for almost a year. We were able to prepare her meals, wash her hair, polish her nails, dog sit, and offer support and encouragement to her and her family.
G's children are out of town. Since she no longer drives, we make sure she gets to her doctor appointments and senior meetings.
Homebodies is making "meals-for-a-month" for a family with multiple children needs..
